TG has been going to bed way too late.
His Olympic armchair exertions supporting Aussies catching waves, crossing the line, beating the clock, scoring that goal, sinking that basket, has meant he’s physically and mentally exhausted in the daytime.
Not only that, but he starts early and stays up late, hoping to see his ‘special sports’… mountain goat climbing, telephone book eating, and the ever popular, according to him, head butting faceoffs.
When I finally got him to focus on the Surf Forecast, he was done in 5 minutes…
That’s easy, he said,
Saturday through Tuesday: around 1 metre or less, flat at times, click change of direction each day, starting Saturday South East, Sunday East South East, Monday South East, Tuesday East.
Then
Wednesday: down some more, from North East
Thursday: ditto ditto
Friday: and ditto again.
Now he’s back in front of the TV watching, hoping.
