Travis Scott yells ‘you’re gonna really lock me up?’ as cops handcuff him in bodycam footage of Miami yacht arrest

A BELLIGERENT and incredulous Travis Scott was clearly shocked as cops handcuffed him off a Miami yacht in June, police body camera footage reveals.

In the wild footage, exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun, Travis is seen being hauled away while he shouts in disbelief following his arrest for disorderly intoxication and trespassing last month.

After being told to leave the boat, Travis appeared to return to the scene, telling officers, who seemed baffled that he had come back, that he had left a bag on the boat.

The Sicko Mode rapper argued with the Miami Beach Police officers and told them “You’re really gonna lock me up after I was trying to get my bag?” as they escorted him to a police car.

In another video, a police cruiser is seen pulling up to the scene, with the officer wearing the body camera exiting the car and walking up to the docked yacht.

The officer can be heard telling the occupants, “Everyone put their hands on their head.”

In a tense moment, just after the police had arrived at the yacht, officers asked if anyone had a firearm.

“Yo, buddy, do you have a firearm on you? You have a fire arm on you?” one cop asked.

Travis got off the boat and told the police that the “owners of the boat” told him to get off.

Travis complained to the officers that he had spent $20,000 to rent the boat and he felt “disrespected” when the “captain kicked the door open” after he was “in a room with his friend.”

The officers then interviewed the boat’s captain, who claimed that Travis was in a bedroom with a woman when the captain asked them to leave.

The boat’s captain also alleged that Travis had pushed him “many times,” and then told officers he didn’t want to press charges he “just wants him to leave.”

At another point in the video, yelled and argued with an officer telling him to sit down while another officer went through Travis’ security guard’s bag.

The security guard told the officers “I need my firearm,” and they responded: “You don’t listen very well, and I’m not going to give you a loaded firearm back,” while explaining to him he’ll have to go collect it at the police station.

TRAVIS’ THREATS

As Travis was escorted back to his car by police, who seemed prepared to let him go had he not returned to the boat, he began making apparent threats of “catching a fade,” which was noted in the police report as well.

“He going to catch a fade if he gets in the car with me!” Travis was heard saying to the officers, using a slang term for knocking someone out.

Inside Travis Scott's criminal history

TRAVIS Scott has faced several criminal charges for inciting reckless behavior at his concerts over the years.

  • 2015 – He pleaded guilty to charges of reckless conduct, after encouraging fans at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago to climb over barricades and onto the stage with him during his set
  • 2017 – He was arrested for inciting a riot, disorderly conduct, and endangering the welfare of a minor after inciting fans to rush the stage at the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion
  • He pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and had to pay more than $6,000 to two people injured at the show
  • 2021 – Travis faced global outrage after 10 people were killed and thousands injured in a crowd surge during his set at Astroworld in Texas
  • He faced lawsuits from the families of several people killed and thousands injured
  • 2023 – A grand jury declined to charge Travis and five others criminally
  • 2024 – He settled all of the wrongful death lawsuits
  • Around 2,400 injury cases filed against Travis and Live Nation are alleged to be ongoing, with hundreds combined into one case back in February 2022

One officer can be heard quipping about the slang term: “You’re going give him a haircut?”

BUSTED!

Travis’s arrest occurred during the early morning hours of Thursday, June 20.

In the report, he was “walking backward and yelling obscenities” while handcuffed and appeared “erratic” and “yelling.”

The rapper was arrested at 1:17 am and was booked at 4:35 am at the Miami-Dade County Jail.

At the time, he posted bond set at $650 – $500 for trespassing and $150 for disorderly intoxication.

Later, his mug shot was released as he didn’t shed a smile with glassy eyes while wearing a black jacket.

NOT OFF THE HOOK

In a recent report from TMZ, Travis’s charges for public intoxication have been dismissed as Travis had a hearing on Thursday morning – which he did not attend.

However, the news outlet reported that the state of Florida would be continuing with a misdemeanor trespassing charge against him.

Travis will reportedly be going back to court on September 10.

Travis, full name Jacques Bermon Webster, is well known for his rap albums as well as being the father of Kylie Jenner’s, 26, two children Stormi, 6, and Aire, 2.
