Synopsis: A workplace comedy centered around a group of dedicated teachers – and an oblivious principal – in a Philadelphia public school where, despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed in life.
Bio: Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker now have their third consecutive nomination for Best Comedy Series. Other projects have included “Cougar Town” and “Harley Quinn.”
Palm Royale
Synopsis: An ambitious woman schemes to secure her seat at America’s most exclusive table: Palm Beach high society circa 1969.
Bio: Abe Sylvia now has his first career Emmy nomination. Other projects have included “Nurse Jackie,” “Dead to Me” and “George and Tammy.”
