KATIE Price has recalled the moment she threw her ‘£50,000’ engagement ring at Carl Woods – only to lose it over a balcony.
The former glamour model, 46, has admitted she and her now-ex fiancé were rowing in Ibiza when she chucked the expensive sparkler at him.
But Katie missed and ended up lobbing it over their hotel balcony, never to be seen again.
The star made the confession while chatting to Olivia Attwood for her podcast So Wrong It’s Right.
Olivia noted that Katie has had many engagement rings – eight in fact – during her adult life and asked if she had kept any.
Katie replied: “The last one, actually, with Carl… we had an argument when I was in Ibiza.
“I was doing a job…no alcohol…we argued because he went through my phone while I was doing a shoot.
“I said, ‘Did you see anything on it?’ He said no, and I said, ‘Exactly, why are you going through my phone?!’
“I said, ‘Do you know what? You can have this!'”
Katie then demonstrated to Olivia how she chucked her ring with force at her then-partner Carl.
“I threw it at him and it went over the balcony,” Katie continued, as Olivia sat wide-eyed and with her hands over her mouth.
“We went to look for it and we never found it. So one day, someone’s going to find a beautiful diamond ring.”
Katie told Olivia she was “gutted”, but added: “I said, ‘Well, if you didn’t argue with me about going through my phone then it never would have happened’.”
The mum-of-five says she and Carl had even heard the giant diamond as it went over the edge of the balcony – and that the shock of the noise put a stop to their row.
Katie and car salesman Carl ended their relationship for good at the end of last year.
They had been in an on/off romance since July 2020 and got engaged in April 2021.
Sources close to Katie claimed they had even had planned for a secret wedding, but they split for good in November last year.

2011: Katie briefly dated model Danny Cipriani… but it ended as quickly as it begun.
2011-2012: They didn’t speak the same language, but Katie got engaged to Argentinian model Leandro Penna in 2011. He later fled home to South America.
2012-2018: Wedding bells rang once more after Katie met Kieran Hayler in 2013. They had two kids together, Jett and Bunny, before their break-up and divorce.
2018-2019: Katie moved on quickly with Kris Boyson. They had an on-off romance for one year and even got engaged. They split for good in 2019.
2019: Katie was linked to Charles Drury during her on-off relationship with Kris. Charles, who also dated Lauren Goodger, has always denied being in “official relationship” with her.
2020-2023: Car salesman Carl Woods took a shining to Katie in 2020. Their relationship was up and down for three years. They broke up for a final time last year.
2024-present: After weeks of rumours, Katie confirmed her relationship with Married At First Sight star JJ Slater in February this year.
Katie has been dating Married At First Sight UK star JJ Slater since the early part of this year, although they did not confirm their romance straight away.
Carl, meanwhile, has this week made a series of thinly-veiled swipes at Katie while offering dating advice to his followers on Instagram.
His Q&A came after it was revealed Katie cheated on him with an ex-England star during a boozy night out in 2022.
One follower asked Carl whether they should take back a cheater, to which he responded: “Absolutely do NOT – Don’t be a fool.
“They do it once and you accept it – you’ve just set the bar for acceptable disrespect. DO NOT.”
