PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Two teens were shot late Wednesday night in Southeast Portland and a third was taken into custody, authorities said.
According to Portland police, the teens, ages 17 and 14, were shot near SE 122nd Avenue and SE Harold Street. Nearby officers heard the shots and responded immediately.
The 14-year-old was taken to a hospital by an ambulance and the 17-year-old went to a nearby home where they were later found and taken to the hospital, officials said. Neither had life-threatening injuries.
Police arriving at the scene said they saw a car fleeing and pursued, following the car down a long rural driveway near SE Foster Road and SE Jenne Road.
Officers, joined by Gresham police and the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office, set up a perimeter and eventually an unmanned aerial device spotted the suspect.
The suspect, a 19-year-old, was taken into custody.
The incident remains under investigation.
