Thursday is off to another very warm and muggy start across Acadiana with temperatures in the 70s to 80s. Highs will be back near 100°. A weak cold front should lower the humidity levels a touch today so the afternoon won't be nearly as steamy. The heat index will still climb to 115° in parts of the area.
The weather pattern remains quiet through the weekend with slightly cooler temperatures on Sunday. Isolated rain chances make their comeback early next week.
