In a deep dive into Donald Trump's reeling 2024 presidential campaign since Vice President Kamala Harris ascended to the top of the ticket after President Joe Biden stepped aside, the Washington Post is reporting the former president is lashing out in all directions at the hand fate has dealt him.
After pointing out that the ex-president — whose legal future is murky if he is not re-elected — has been complaining that it is "unfair" for Democrats to run Harris against him instead of Biden, the report notes that the Harris campaign, now that Gov. Tim Walz (D -MN) has been added to the ticket as the vice presidential candidate, is getting under Trump's skin in a new way.
As the Post notes, Trump insiders claim the former president is lashing out at his campaign staff over Harris' fundraising cash haul and the large and boisterous crowds she has been drawing to her rallies in numbers that are dwarfing his.

After massive turnouts for Harris and the folksy Walz in Philadelphia, Wisconsin, and Michigan the past few days, the Post is reporting that the visuals of rambunctious and cheering Harris/Walz supporters are driving Trump's rage which could lead to a campaign shake-up.
"Trump has begun asking friends and allies how his campaign staff is doing — a question that some say could lead to staff changes, though the former president has not said he is planning that and has expressed support for campaign aides in recent days, a person close to him said," the Post's Josh Dawsey and Michael Scherer wrote before adding, "He has asked why Harris is raising so much more money than him, people familiar with the comments say. Trump has also repeatedly raised the large crowds that Harris is getting compared with Biden, people who have spoken to him said."
The report adds, "A Tuesday afternoon post from Trump on his Truth Social media site — which included a number of nicknames, falsehoods and baseless accusations — suggested he was still steaming."
