FROM noise complaints to parking disputes, almost everyone has had a run-in with a neighbour at one point or another.
One homeowner revealed how she got the last laugh in a row with the “petty” woman next door.
In her viral video, TikTok user Payton Ramsey (@paytonramsay) explained that her neighbour kept moving her wheelie bins.
However, she shared the creative revenge she came up with to put an end to the tiff.
“We put grease on the bottom of our [wheelie bin] handles so when our neighbour moves them it gets all over her hands,” she said.
Payton was able to watch her neighbour’s reaction on her Ring Doorbell Camera.
In the footage, the woman next door can be seen attempting to move Payton’s bins.
First, she grabbed the handle of the general waste bin but soon realised the issue.
She glanced down at her hands before wiping them on the lid of the bin.
The woman then tried to move Payton’s recycling bin before encountering the same problem.
Payton shared close up shots of her greased up bin handles after the incident.
Her neighbour’s greasy hand prints were smeared across the lid of each of the bins.
She described the woman next door as “the neighbour from hell” in the clip’s caption.
However, she appeared to have won the bin war after her neighbour was forced to abandon her effort and return home to wash her hands.
TikTok users shared their thoughts on the situation in the comments section.
“Why is she moving them in the first place? There’s hella space,” wrote one viewer.
“Honestly. Skunk spray works wonders,” suggested another follower.
