Two girls, aged 15 and 16, are suspected of stealing a bag from a sunbed on a Larnaca beach on Wednesday.
A complaint was received by the police at 1pm on Wednesday that two young girls had stolen a bag.
Policemen went to the area and found the two girls, as well as the man who had reported the incident.
The girls were questioned and charged in the presence of their guardians and lawyers and will be later summoned to court.
The man, who had in the meantime retrieved the bag, handed it to the police.
