Horror as primary school boy threatens to stab and rape girl and ‘shank her nan’
A YOUNG boy reportedly threatened to stab and rape a girl classmate at school.
The Nottingham boy also allegedly told the girl he would “shank her nan”.
The shocking incident is alleged to have happened at a primary-to-secondary transition day at Bluecoat Aspley Academy in the city.
The boy is now being kept away from the girl at the school, the Nottingham Post reports.
But the girl’s father said the measure does not go far enough – criticising cops for failing to take action.
An incident report said the boy told the girl he had a crush on her before she turned him down.
The next day, the boy allegedly threatened to bring a knife to school and stab the girl “if she carries on doing this to me”.
Witnesses reportedly told the school the boy talked about keeping the girl’s body in a bag and sexually assaulting her.
The boy also allegedly threatened to “shank her nan”.
The girl’s dad said his daughter was “very upset” when he picked her up from the Nottingham school that day.
He said he immediately reported the boy’s behaviour and threats to the academy.
A member of staff is said to have told the boy his behaviour would not be tolerated at the academy, with the boy agreeing to apologise.
The incident report reportedly said the boy and girl will not share any classes or break times.
The girl’s dad told the Nottingham Post: “My daughter’s strong but she’s still a young girl. It has impacted her.
“She doesn’t want to have to look over her shoulder. I suggested we find another school.
“But she’s worked very hard to get in and doesn’t want to quit. I just want to make sure my daughter’s in a safe environment.”
The dad added: “I’m not asking for extra special treatment. This is how it starts when they’re young.”
He said he reported the boy’s threats to the police but was told it was an internal matter for the schools involved to deal with.
The dad fears the boy’s threatening behaviour could escalate if it is not properly challenged.
Nottinghamshire Police and the Archway Learning Trust have been contacted for comment.
