The duo continued to make music together for two years after the show before calling it a day and pursuing separate careers.
During his time on X Factor, Dylan spoke to us about his bisexuality.
He said: “If I go out and guys come up to me they look really confused when I say I’ve got a girlfriend.
“It’s weird because all the girls think I’m a gay and all the guys think I’m straight.
“But I actually like boys and girls, so I get the best of both worlds.
“I went from having a boyfriend to a girlfriend and it was really funny.
“I was friends with this girl in my town and we used to hang out and then one day I started feeling a bit different and I thought, ‘I like both’.”
Nowadays Dylan uses his platform to speak openly about being transgender as well as wowing followers with his music.
In a pinned video on his Instagram page, Dylan says: “I’m a musician and I’m also a transgender man. I make indie pop music and I used to release music under my old name Lots Holloway.
“Since transitioning I’ve been using my old vocal recordings and old vocals of myself to harmonize and duet with my former self because I want people to know it’s ok to embrace who you’ve been because they’ve brought you to be who you are now.”
Dylan’s fans love his unique content and have been vocal in their support of him.
One person commented: “so creative what you’re doing and a great message you shared as well, love seeing what you do.”
