In a bid to boost coastal security, the government worked with coastal states to enhance infrastructure and supervision. Measures included setting up radar stations, conducting joint patrols, and organizing community engagement programs. Over 200 boats and 204 coastal police stations were provided, alongside the establishment of the Rashtriya Coastal Police Academy for training state marine police.
