Hypermiler drivers Kevin Booker and Sam Clarke have broken the Guinness World Records title for the longest journey, of 916.74 km, by an electric car on a single charge. They achieved this record in a Ford Mustang Mach-E sports utility vehicle (SUV) fitted with Bridgestone tyres. The electric vehicle (EV), the Mach-E Premium Extended Range SUV rear-wheel drive automatic, equipped with 18” wheels, a 91 kWh battery and boasting a range of 600.28 km, surpassed expectations, averaging 10.05 km/kWh on public roads throughout Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire, in England.
