HELEN Flanagan has opened up about her split from Scott Sinclair and revealed the real reason behind their separation.
Former Coronation Street star Helen, 34, and footballer Scott, 35, went their separate ways in 2022 after 13 years together.
Helen – who is taking part in the upcoming series of Celebs Go Dating – has told of the heartbreaking reality of their relationship now.
Speaking on Charlotte Dawson’s Naughty Corner podcast, she said: “I still love him very much, I care about him deeply, but we don’t like each other.
“We don’t like each other at all, we don’t get on. I do know that Scott – he’d never admit it – care about me too and he does love me.”
The former couple share three children meaning they have to be in contact for the kids’ sake.
Helen continued: “The last time I saw him, I thought it was quite funny, I was taking the p*** out of him because he had a bucket hat on. I think he was trying not to laugh.”
Last month The Sun revealed Helen was almost axed from Celebs Go Dating after breaking a huge rule.
Agent Anna Williamson told us: “Helen, I just love her.
“What I will say about her though – and I don’t want to spoil anything – but Helen has the biggest cliffhanger pivot of a storyline that we’ve ever had in Celebs Go Dating history.
“Helen nearly got thrown out of the agency two weeks ago. She did something huge which goes against all the rules of the agency.”
Also taking part in the new series are Love Island star Chris Taylor, singer Jamelia and influencer Lauryn Goodman.
