OLYMPIC footie fans are convinced Brazil star Priscila should’ve been booked for her celebration in their semi-final win over Spain.
The Canarinhas booked their place in Sunday’s final with a 4-2 win at the Orange Velodrome.
Priscila’s celebration after Spain’s calamitous own goal wasn’t well received by footie fans[/caption]A calamitous own goal from Spain’s Irene Paredes, who unfortunately had the ball booted against her by keeper Cata Coll, lit the blue touch paper.
And seconds later Priscila rubbed salt into the wounds of Coll – who was donning a protective mask – by roaring in her face as she celebrated.
Her celebration, however, wasn’t well received by those watching the match at home.
One wrote on X: “Celebrating in keepers face is a bit off.”
Another said: “Unsporting conduct should have got a yellow.”
“Or if it was a parks game a rather robust challenge next play to perhaps let them know they were being a dick.”
And another said: “Yellow for that.”
One remarked: “Ahhh the spirit of the Olympics is live and well.”

Another chimed in: “Should’ve been booked for unsporting conduct, but it’s football, where unsporting conduct is the norm.”
Goals from Gabi Portihlo, Adriana, Gabi Portihlo fired the Brazilians to Sunday’s final against the USA.
They’ll face the Americans buoyed by the return of their talismanic striker Marta.
The 38-year-old missed the last two rounds through suspension as she was sent off in Brazil’s group stage loss to the Spaniards.
But she’s served her two-match ban and will likely lead the line for her nation at the Parc des Princes.
