CHANNEL 4 viewers were taken aback when one bachelor made a naughty admission while on First Dates.
Series 22 of the reality show kicked off this July, seeing singletons from around the UK attempt to find a spark after being paired up for a blind date by Fred Sirieix.
Some pairings lead to romance, while others are more of a disaster, and one of the latest episodes left audience members blushing when Milton Keynes local Glen made a saucy remark prematurely.
The business owner was paired up with fire performer Hayley, and there was palpable chemistry in the air as they chatted over drinks.
After a bit of discussion over how long they’d both been single for, Glen went in for the kill, asking: “If you were someone in a movie, who would you be?”
Before Hayley had the chance to respond he went ahead and volunteered: “I think I’d be Christian Grey.”
Christian is the wealthy businessman in the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy who is known for being involved in the world of BDSM.
In the books, he has a secret dungeon where he disciplines his sexual partners.
Glen’s shocked date burst into nervous laughter after his confession.
Hayley asked him: “Are you into a little bit of that, are you?”
Glen confidently responded: “Do you know what, I would probably give anything a go.”
Blushing, Hayley warned: “Calm down.”
One viewer was quick to scold the man, hitting out: “That guy needs to keep his mind out the gutter.”
However, another thought that Hayley was into it, sharing: “Did he just really say that? Christian Grey…. She seemed to like it.”
Despite the blunder, the pair hit it off, and were revealed to be still dating six months after the show was filmed.
