The streets of Southwest Florida are filling with rain as a tropical disturbance continues to soak the region."It’s going to be more rain, and (the forecast)doesn’t really change," said Paul Close, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Ruskin. "It looks the same as today and yesterday, so therecould be another 3 to 5 inches of rain in some spots."Meteorologists are giving the Naples area an at least a 70 percent chance of rain between now and Monday.Flooding was reported in Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, parts of Fort Myers and San Carlos Park on Saturday.Submerged cars were found in parts of Cape Coral.Former Bonita Springs mayor Ben Nelson lives along Leitner Creek in Bonita and said the creek is higher than he's seen in more than a decade."I’ve been here for 35 years and it’s as high as I’ve ever seen it," Nelson said.
