The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a 'yellow' alert for heavy rainfall in several parts of Haryana, including Gurgaon, over the next 24 hours. Tuesday saw a slight drop in minimum temperature to 26.4 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature reached 32.5 degrees Celsius, with the day remaining muggy. The city's air quality index rose to 81, remaining in the satisfactory category. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers were predicted for the capital on Wednesday and Thursday, expected to cause a temperature dip by around three degrees. The IMD forecasts continued rain until August 12.
