In response to the turmoil in Bangladesh, the Guwahati Frontier of the Border Security Force (BSF) has deployed 11 battalions and one water wing to secure the 509-kilometer Indo-Bangladesh border under its jurisdiction. The BSF has declared a high alert, enhancing surveillance and increasing manpower at border outposts and Land Custom Stations.
