At least 50 students from around 10 ashram schools in Maharashtra's Palghar district fell ill due to suspected food poisoning on Tuesday morning. The students, from Dahanu, Palghar, Talasari, and Vasai talukas, experienced nausea, vomiting, and giddiness after dinner. They were admitted to various hospitals for treatment. Officials are investigating the cause, with food samples collected for analysis. District Collector Govind Bodke and health officials are assessing the situation in hospitals. Project Officer Dr. Satyam Gandhi confirmed none of the students are in serious condition.
