Lucas Bergvall has admitted that he was impressed with new Tottenham signing Yang Min-hyuk during the friendly against K-League All-Stars last week.

The early signs are that Tottenham have found an absolute gem in the form of Bergvall, with the 18-year-old arguably being the club’s best player in the pre-season friendlies so far.

His most impressive display so far came in the friendly against Bayern Munich on Saturday, with the youngster dictating proceedings in the second half and not being overawed by the quality of the opposition he was facing, which is a great sign for Ange Postecoglou’s men.

Spurs fans would be hoping that the Swede can hit the ground running at the start of the Premier League season and the former Djurgardens starlet will soon be joined at the club by another exciting young prospect in Yang.

Bergvall is looking forward to playing with Yang Min-hyuk

The pacy winger, who signed from Gangwon two weeks ago, is set to link up with the Tottenham squad in the January transfer window.

The Spurs players got an opportunity to face off against the teenager in their friendly against Team K-League last week and Bergvall was spotted speaking to the Korean after the full-time whistle.

When asked what he had discussed with Yang, the midfielder said in the mixed zone after the game (via Djng Hyn’s Instagram story): “He’s coming to our team soon, we talked about that part.

“He is a really good player and I am hoping for a future with him.”
