WELSH opera singer Wynne Evans has been revealed as the third Strictly Come Dancing contestant.
Best known for being the ‘Go Compare man’, the 52-year-old told of his new adventure on BBC Radio Two today.

“I love the glitz, the glamour and all of that so I’m well up for it,” said Wynne.
Wynne won Celebrity MasterChef last year and is regularly heard on BBC Radio Two.
Wynne is taking part in the 20th anniversary special of Strictly this autumn.
“I can’t believe it because it’s all cloak and daggers,” he said.
“You go for an audition, then you’re given a code name which is my favourite part of the whole thing.”
The opera singer said he’s most looking forward to doing the waltz – but is dreading the jive.
Wynne said: “The stuff I’m more nervous about is doing something like the jive because I represent every portly middle-aged father who jumps and could set a minor tsunami off in North London.
“I’m kind of a bit nervous about that, but I’m taking inspiration from Bill Bailey.”
As Wynne delivered his exciting news on BBC Radio Two, he revealed he was filming with another Welsh star – Gavin and Stacey‘s Joanne Page.
She gushed she was “so excited” to go to the BBC studios in Elstree to watch her pal perform.
Wynne is renowned for his annoyingly catchy Go Compare alter-ego – Gio Compario.
As a professional singer, he belts out the tune for the price comparison website that’s impossible to get out your head.
He said the adverts “changed his life”.
