As the Boston Red Sox added at the trade deadline, they supplemented the big-league club to stay in and advance in the postseason picture over the final two months of the season.
Boston largely did so without dealing impact prospects during a successful month of July for prospects around the organization.
Elsewhere in lower levels, the next intriguing wave of talent made some noise and should encourage Boston about the depth that exists past the top prospect trio of the organization.
With that, here are some of the top storylines surrounding Red Sox prospects from July.
BIG THREE UPDATE
It feels like Marcelo Mayer, Roman Anthony and Kyle Teel have been on watch for a promotion to Triple-A Worcester for weeks upon weeks.
All three players made an impact throughout the month, particularly with Anthony taking a step forward. The Red Sox outfield prospect posted a .929 OPS in July and won the skills competition among prospects during All-Star festivities.
Mayer certainly can sense the winning culture of the Red Sox on the rise with the improvements of the big-league club, along with the progress he's made with his fellow prospects in the system.
Following trade deadline deals that involved numerous prospects from Worcester, Boston chief baseball officer Craig Breslow appeared to hint that those deserved promotions for the enticing three prospects could be discussed as early as this week.

SWING AND A (GREENVILLE) DRIVE
While the attention of the farm system rested in Portland over the past calendar year, July marked an energized and eventful month in High-A for the Greenville Drive.
Pitching is on the rise in Greenville. We're going to quickly jump into August as the Drive started the month with a combined no-hitter from Yordanny Monegro, Cooper Adams and Issac Stebens. That already marked the second such instance for the Greenville staff during the 2024 season.
In the lineup, the Red Sox prospects put on a power display that was headlined by back-to-back-to back home runs on July 31 off the bats of Mikey Romero, Miguel Bleis and Jhostynxon Garcia.
There's talent coming that will supplement the upper levels of the Red Sox system in the coming years.
INTRIGUING PERFORMANCES
-- INF/OF Kristian Campbell
Campbell dominated Double-A upon his promotion in June and won Eastern League Player of the Month honors. He followed that up with plenty of defensive versatility in July, hitting .338 with an .889 OPS.
After the All-Star break, he spoke exclusively with NESN.com about his quick rise during the 2024 season.
-- INF Mikey Romero
Boston's 2022 first-rounder turned a corner in his development and really found his swing in July, including a stretch with five home runs over the course of a week.
-- RHP David Sandlin
The prospect Boston received in the John Schreiber trade earned a jump to Double-A, and he immediately lit it up with his high-velocity arsenal. With his fastball running up to 99 mph, he posted a 2.25 ERA in his first two
-- OF Jhostynxon Garcia
Here's a prospect that deserves a bit more attention for his 2024 production.
Garcia plays in the Red Sox system along with his brother, Johanfran, who suffered a season-ending injury earlier in the year. In the meantime, Jhostynxon truly turned it on once he reached High-A. To date with the Drive, Garcia is hitting .295 with a .995 OPS with 16 home runs in just 48 games.
Also, his nickname, "The Password," might just be the best in the game.
DEPTH FLOWS IN FROM THE DRAFT
Braden Montgomery adds another impact bat to the Red Sox system after Boston selected him with the No. 12 overall selection in the 2024 MLB Draft.
Boston loaded their picks with pitchers on more than half of their 20 selections.
