Actor Ryan Gosling is from Canada, and he’s obviously spent a ton of time over his career in the U.S. So, when it came time to attend Sunday’s Olympic final for women’s uneven bars, Gosling knew just the hat to wear. Hint: It wasn’t in support of either country.
He’s apparently a huge fan of just, uh, the Olympics.
Gosling and Eva Mendes were in attendance to watch Suni Lee earn bronze in the event while Algeria’s Kaylia Nemour took gold. And though there was no Canadian gymnast competing in the final, fans could not get over Gosling’s obvious lack of rooting interest. As far as hats go, it doesn’t get much more generic than this:
