TWO daytime TV rivals are packed up and heading on holiday together for Channel 5.
Kym Marsh, who co-hosts BBC daytime show Morning Live, will present a new programme alongside Richard Arnold from ITV1’s Good Morning Britain.
The Weekend Travel Show promises to take viewers on a journey across the globe to some of the world’s travel hotspots.
Channel 5 bosses plan to showcase trips taken by a range of celebrities, including singer Jane McDonald, comedian Susan Calman, DIY guru Nick Knowles and father and son presenters Larry and George Lamb.
Former Coronation Street actress Kym and Richard will share anecdotes from their own travels.
They will be joined by travel writer Simon Calder and other experts who will offer practical advice.
Viewers will be given travel hacks, ranging from how to fit the most luggage possible into your suitcase to what books to take for a leisurely read.
Kim, who presents Morning Live with Gethin Jones and Michelle Ackerley, said: “I’m excited to be part of The Weekend Travel Show with Richard.
“What better way to explore some beautiful destinations from the comfort of your own home?”
Richard added: “I love to travel and I can’t wait to dive into these wonderful travel stories and share our own fun experiences along with top tips for viewers.”
