We love a good build here at Readwrite Gaming, We have covered some stunning Minecraft efforts previously, but up to now we haven’t delved into what people are doing in No Man’s Sky. A game we love here. That changes today. The constant updates and content boosts No Man’s Sky gets means every time we write about it we feel obligated to mention its redemption arc, how it was slated on launch, and how it has now turned into one of the best games of the last decade and it keeps getting better. We must stop doing that.
The recent Worlds update completely changed how the game looks in terms of clouds and water, and it is just a lovely game to play and look at.
With that said, today we are going to have a look at a stunning project that has been built inside NMS, and being the type of game that it is, you can easily travel there as it is hosted in the Euclid system.
Built entirely on the PS5 version of the game and consisting of over 3000 parts, Rainbow City is a Cyberpunk-vibey location complete with streets, shops, bars, apartments a nightclub, and a metro.
While most people have gotten around to building a basic base or two in the game, or maybe even getting more extravagant, the time and patience to build something like shows true gaming dedication.

As one Redditor said, “Like seriously how long did it take to build this masterpiece? I’ve been playing for a couple of years now and still can’t get a handle on 4 walls and a roof.”
Rainbow City can be visited in any version of No Man’s Sky, including the more recent Nintendo Switch version although somebody posted, “My Switch will melt if I visit your base,” which you have to admit is pretty funny.
There is a video of the build in action on Reddit here, or you can check it out in creative mode by entering the glyph coordinates you see on the bottom left of the images above.
