Triple digit high temperatures and mostly quiet weather is in the forecast for Acadiana this workweek. Highs will be close to 99° today with a heat index closer to 117° in Lafayette. Skies turn partly cloudy during the afternoon with a few showers or storms possible.
Starting tomorrow, highs each day will be at 100° or hotter in much of Acadiana as rain chances stay slim to none. A weak cold front is a possibility this weekend which could bring some small relief.
