The first snap showcased the bar, which matched the dark wooden floors and featured an array of art against the white walls.
The property also boasts two large balconies at the back facing the sea, allowing the TV star and her family to enjoy views of a spectacular white sandy beach.
By the downstairs balcony, a long staircase leads straight onto the sand, making it perfect for those early morning strolls.
Kristie decided to purchase the property abroad three months after her mother’s death.
In a heartfelt caption alongside the post, she wrote: “In March 2014, 3 months after my Mum died, I came to stay with a friend on Harbour Island, in the Bahamas.
“I knew nothing about the place, it was my first big trip with the boys but no Ben, and they were 5 & 7.
“Within 3 days I had made an appointment to see a ‘real estate agent’ I know the lingo now, and I spent nearly all the money I’d saved from making Locations on a house here.
“I have never regretted it for a moment, if you’ve ever been lucky another to come to the spot that Tim Peak called “the most beautiful place on earth from space” you will know that the sea is incredible and for someone who loves to swim it is sheer bliss.
“My children & stepchildren now have an amazing life here and many, many friends. No-one watches my shows or knows anything about my work, I’m just another middle aged Mum.
“People often whinge about fame, and half the time it’s rubbish; many of us would not have what we have without the fame, and though it’s a treat to be anonymous sometimes, that should’t stop me sharing this place with those who bother to follow me on Instagram.”
Along with the beach house in Barbados, she also owns two more properties: a house in London’s Notting Hill and a cottage in rural Devon.
Kirstie and her partner Ben Andersen share two children.
Additionally, she is the step-mum to Ben’s two children from a previous relationship.
