ANGELA Griffin is best known for acclaimed roles in hit TV dramas such as Waterloo Road and White Lines.
But when she’s not in front of the camera, the actress spends time in her stunning home in London.
Angela, 48, has established herself as one of the best actresses in the UK, thanks to popular roles in various television series.
She shot to fame in 1992 when she starred in Coronation Street as the hard-working hairdresser, Fiona Middleton.
After leaving the soap, the BBC came calling, and she was invited to join the cast of Holby City.
The star was part of the first ever roster of stars in the medical drama as she played nurse, Jasmine Hopkins.
Her career took off when she played Kim Campbell, Head of Pastoral Care on Waterloo Road.
She is now in her third stint as the long-running character who is now headmistress at the comprehensive school.
But alongside her on-screen role, she’s also been involved in the behind-the-scenes production as a director.
Angela told Prima Magazine: “Directing feels like a natural progression.
“When you come from acting and go into directing, there’s a respect from the actors, because you know what they’re going through. Luckily, on Waterloo Road, I have a great relationship with all the crew.”
When away from the set, the actress likes to relax and unwind in her stunning home with her husband, Jason Milligan.
The star regularly gives fans various sneak peeks inside her London abode on her social media.
Recently, Angela hosted a number of friends to watch the football, and they all posed for a beaming photo in her stylish kitchen.
Viewers could see pique wooden floors combined with Spanish-style tiles on her Instagram grid page.
This was complemented by navy painted cabinets, a sleek chrome fridge, and grey marble countertops.

According to a photo of her husband as they celebrated their wedding anniversary, the duo sit at a wooden dining table with white Nordic-style chairs.
The room is brightly lit as it overlooks their raised wooden garden terrace.
At Christmas, Angela also gave her devoted followers a look into a stunning alcove, which featured a heavily decorated tree in front of plush white shutters.
Navy blue seemed to be an ongoing theme when it came to the chosen decor in her house.
Other rooms also featured similar coloured walls to the cabinets in her kitchen, as even the Victorian fireplace was painted and tiled in the sleek colour.
Another feature is her unique taste in funky wallpapers, as pink and blue velvet sofas adorned her lounge area.
This was in front of a statement wallpaper which featured an elaborate turquoise floral and bird design.
Her bathroom also featured dark walls, which are completely covered by a navy and green palm tree design.
This is complimented nicely by a sleek white china bowl sink, gold tap fixtures, and what look like copper towel rails.
However, her mirrored dressing room provides a different atmosphere from the living rooms downstairs.
It featured a gorgeous padded violet chaise longue for the actress to lie or sit on, as she prepares for a long day on set.
Meanwhile, the actress admitted that although she may live a luxury lifestyle, she still feels pressure not to ‘squander it’.

Bradley/Stacey/Max: Stacey Slater began an affair with boyfriend Bradley Branning’s dad Max in 2007.

CORONATION STREET
Shelley/Peter/Lucy: Peter Barlow took the concept of a love triangle and ran with it in Coronation Street – extending it to bigamy.
He was in a relationship with Shelley Unwin but started dating Lucy Richards, and quickly married her after she fell pregnant with his son, Simon.
But it didn’t stop him also marrying Shelley, but he was eventually caught when Lucy turned up in Weatherfield and the two women confronted him.
Ken/Deidre/Mike: Back in 1982, Deirdre Barlow started sleeping with her husband’s nemesis Mike Baldwin in secret, before confessing all a year later.
When Mike turned up at the marital home, Deirdre was being throttled by her husband who then kicked her out, but years later they reconciled.
Maria/Aidan/Eva: In 2017, Aidan Connor started sleeping with girlfriend Eva Price’s best friend, Maria Connor.
Eva eventually found out and she decided to take revenge by faking a pregnancy, spending his money and planned to confront him on their wedding day.
But she had a change of heart when a remorseful Aidan confessed, and decided to marry him anyway, only for Maria to arrive and expose her fake pregnancy.
EMMERDALE
Ross/Debbie/Pete: Debbie Dingle found herself torn between two brothers, Ross and Pete Barton in 2015 in Emmerdale.
She eventually decided to marry Pete but yet again, a soap wedding day was ruined when the groom learned of his bride’s betrayal via a recording played at the wedding.
Chrissie/Robert/Aaron: Robert Sugden was married to Chrissie White and all seemed well – until he began a steamy affair with Aaron Dingle.
Robert’s ex Katie Sugden almost exposed the affair – but fell to her death before she had the chance.
However, a guilty Aaron eventually cracked and told Chrissie about the affair – after which she announced it to the whole pub.
She told Prima Magazine: “It’s mind-blowing that my name is on a primetime drama because it’s so competitive. So I really am grateful for where I have got to, because it’s hard to get a gig.
“There’s that whole imposter syndrome thing, and I think a lot of that comes from class and not going to drama school.
She added: “So I am trying to go, ‘As long as I don’t squander it, as long as I don’t take advantage and as long as I don’t take it for granted, then I deserve it.”
