Thomas Banks, 17, dubbed ‘next Luke Littler’ eerily wins same tournament as Nuke before World Championship breakthrough
THOMAS BANKS has eerily won week nine of the MODUS Super Series.
The tournament was won by Luke Littler before he made his breakthrough at the World Championship.
Banks, 17, bested rival Conor Heneghan in the final by four legs to two.
The teenager was thrilled with his victory as he lifted the trophy with excitement.
He also had a nice moment with South African darts star Simon Adams.
The pair copied each other in celebration before Banks went to pack up his belongings.
Fans on social media were ecstatic for Banks as they were quick to make comparisons to Littler.
One posted: “Don’t Say it, Don’t Say it, Don’t Say it, Don’t Say it, Don’t Say it” *GASP* …The Next Luke Littler?”
A second wrote: “What a player the man is. Definitely the next Littler.”

Littler succeeded at the same stage before he went on to reach the final of the World Championship at Ally Pally last year.
The Nuke was beaten by Luke Humphries in the final but cemented himself as one of the sport’s most exciting players.
Littler is now planning on starting his own beer range despite still being too young to drink.
He has applied to the Intellectual Property Office to trademark his name for beers, non-alcoholic and energy drinks.
