Nah, we’re just joking (kind of), we know many men in Hollywood find their happily-ever-afters with women close to their age: Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig, Tim McGraw, Mark Consuelos, we can go on. However, there are quite a few that persistently seem to date half their age. While we already know about Leonardo DiCaprio’s pattern of dating women up to 26 years old, it seems his best buddy, Tobey Maguire, is taking up that rule as well.
Earlier this summer, Maguire was linked to 20-year-old model Lily Chee, but those rumors were denied vehemently by his ex-wife, Jennifer Meyer. However, Page Six obtained photos of him smooching another model by the name of Babette Strijbos, who is 25 years his junior.
In the photos obtained by the outlet, we can see Maguire, 49, and Strijbos, 24, packing on the PDA while on a private beach in Sardinia, Italy, on July 31. They were seen kissing, looking lovingly into each other’s eyes, and laughing.
While it’s unclear if they’re in a relationship, or a one-time fling, it has fans glued to their screens for all the updates.
And while Maguire and Chee weren’t a thing, Maguire is also no stranger to dating women about half his age, because from 2018 to 2021, he was dating model Tatiana Dieteman, who was 17 years his junior; so it’s a strong possibility.
Babette Vivianne Strijbos is a beautiful, talented model who has seemingly been in the industry since she was 17 or 18, in 2017. She’s 5’10, and has modeled for brands like Calvin Klein, Realisation Par, Kora Organics, Free People, and Abercrombie, to name a few.
She is represented by NEXT Management, D’Management Group, and Parker Management. According to her Instagram, she has a four-year-old dog named Senna.
