UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) -- Police are looking for a group of men who they say robbed a 19-year-old at both knife and gunpoint.
According to authorities, a group of eight men approached the 19-year-old at 14 East 60 St. around 1:15 a.m. on July 20. That’s when police say they surrounded him, pulled multiple knives and a gun and punched him in the face. The group made off with the 19-year-old’s cell phone and backpack, officials tell us.
The group was last seen running towards Central Park. The 19-year-old had minor injuries but refused medical attention. Police have released pictures of the eight men wanted in connection with the robbery.
