Dominic Solanke has sent a cryptic message on social media potentially hinting at a transfer to Tottenham amidst the speculation linking him with a move to the North London side.
Over the last 48 hours, several reliable sources have stated that Spurs are turning their attention to Solanke as they look to bring a top-class number through the door before the start of the season (Fabrizio Romano).
This information was backed up by Football.London’s Alasdair Gold on Friday, with the journalist claiming that the Lilywhites have been fans of the Englishman for a long time and that the 26-year-old is seen as someone who is a good fit for Ange Postecoglou’s system.
According to TEAMtalk’s recent update, although Solanke’s release clause stands at £65m, Spurs are hopeful of signing the player for around £60m instead.
The centre forward has now taken to social media to post a cryptic message, which suggests that he is now on the cusp of achieving a big dream.
Solanke’s message reads: “No dream is too big, no goal is too ambitious. Dare to dream, and dare to make it a reality.”
Tottenham’s famous club motto is also: To Dare Is To Do.

One can understand why Tottenham fans are excited as the ‘dare to dream’ part suggests that he is talking about Spurs.
The timing of this post also seems to be too much of a coincidence for it to not be related to the transfer talk.
