France, the country hosting this tournament, is one of the most intriguing teams currently competing. Despite a disappointing performance during the 2023 World Cup, they received an automatic bid for the Olympics and have made the most of the opportunity thus far.
This team advanced past group play, including a tightly contested overtime win over Japan. Led by Victor Wembanyama who has played like arguably the best player in the tournament thus far, this is a team that could give any rival problems due to their size in the frontcourt.
