The cabinet approved eight National High-Speed Road Corridor Projects spanning 936 km at a cost of Rs. 50,655 Crore to boost logistics efficiency and connectivity. The projects will create 4.42 crore man days of employment. They include an eight-lane elevated Nashik Phata-Khed Corridor, a six-lane Agra-Gwalior Corridor cutting travel time by 50%, a six-lane Tharad-Ahmedabad Corridor for port connection, among others.
