The Supreme Court on Friday declared it cannot mandate a new NEET-UG 24 examination, citing a lack of sufficient evidence pointing to a systemic leak or malpractice affecting the exam's integrity. The court also expanded the scope of the Centre-appointed panel, led by former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chief K Radhakrishnan. This panel is tasked with reviewing the National Testing Agency (NTA), the body responsible for conducting the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) (NEET-UG), and recommending examination reforms.
