FORMER Sugababes star Amelle Berrabah has hinted that a reunion with her fellow ousted bandmates could be on the cards.
The popstar initially joined the girl group in December 2005 as a replacement for Mutya Buena and stayed with the band until they went on hiatus at the end of 2011.

Whilst with Heidi and Jade, Amelle released the Suagbabes seventh album Sweet 7 before the band “fizzled out”.
At the same time, the band’s original line-up, Mutya, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy began performing together again and by 2019 won a legal battle to re-gain the band name Sugababes – essentially preventing the other three from ever reuniting.
Ever since, the original trio have seen a resurgence by becoming go-to’s for music festival bookers but Amelle has now sparked speculation that she is prepared to work with Heidi and Jade once again.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun at the National Reality TV Awards, when asked if a reunion could happen, Amelle remained coy.
The singer said: “It could be something!
“I’d never say no to it.”
Demand for the axed three bandmates to perform again has only risen after Amelle made a grand return to the stage this year with a slew of solo bookings.
She has become a familiar face at various festival’s and Pride events across the country where she has been belting out a plethora of Sugababes hits to fans.
Amelle told The Sun: “It’s been really good being back on stage.
“It’s something I’ve been asked for about doing for quite a long time. And I was really nervous, if I’m honest, really, really nervous.
“But then I thought, you know what, I do it for the love of performing and singing live.
“So, it’s something I’ve definitely missed in my normal day-to-day life. I love my privacy and I love spending time with my daughter and working.
“But it’s nice to be able to dip a toe in from time to time and perform again.”
Amelle told The Sun about her recent return to the stage[/caption] She has been performing Sugababes hits solo this summer[/caption]Amelle confessed her setlist is predominantly made up of tracks she recorded originally in the band but did add fan favourite Push The Button – sang by Keisha, Heidi and Mutya – to the set.
The star continued: “The ones that I performed were all of the ones that I was a part of, but one.
“I chose to add Push the Button because I’d sung it for like seven, nearly eight years. And it’s something that I know people want to hear.
“I even put out a post, like, I hope it doesn’t cause anything and I hope it’s about the music and we can just enjoy it for the music. So, it seems to be okay.”
However, Amelle admitted she hadn’t heard from any of the original three since choosing to perform the song and revealed that there has been virtually no contact with them ever.
The star, who is the only Sugababe to achieve a solo number one away from the group, said: ” I’ve never met Siobhan, I’ve heard great things, though.
“Mutya, the only day I’ve ever met her was to wish me luck for CDUK and we had a little chat and a cuddle.
“That’s literally the only time I’ve ever met her.
“And then Keisha, we haven’t spoken in a few years to be honest.”
