Newcastle United do not have any agreement on personal terms in place with Sheffield United attacker William Osula yet, according to Sky Sports News.
The Magpies want to bring in the Denmark Under-21 international, who they see as a huge talent and as someone who can provide cover for Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson.
A fee in principle has been agreed with Sheffield United for Osula’s services as Newcastle push forward with the deal.
There is though some way to go before Osula can pose for photographs holding a Newcastle United scarf.
No personal terms have yet been agreed with the player and no medical will be booked in for Osula until that has happened.
The Magpies are not likely to be expecting any issues when it comes to finalising a contract with the attacker.
Newcastle will pay Sheffield United a fee of £10m plus add-ons of £5m to take Osula to St James’ Park.
Osula was also firmly on the radar of Championship side Norwich City, while Austrian champions Sturm Graz also wanted him.
