Jeremy Renner reacted to the news that Robert Downey Jr. was returning to star in a new Marvel movie.
The 53-year-old Hawkeye actor shared the screen with the Iron Man star in multiple Avengers movies over the year. But he learned that his costar was returning to the franchise to play Doctor Doom in two new movies at the same time as everyone else.
In a new interview, Jeremy opened up about the development and teased his own future in the franchise.

“I had no idea,” Jeremy told Us Weeky. “This son of a b-tch didn’t say anything to me, and we’re good friends.”
He added that he immediately turned to the Avengers group chat to discuss the news with Robert and their core team of costars.
“I’m like, ‘What’s going on? Are you hiding this from us?’ I don’t know,” he said. “That’s exciting news, man. I’m really, really excited about it.”
Will Jeremy suit up again? He didn’t have a solid answer to that question.
“I’m excited about it. We’ll see. I think we’ll probably be doing it,” he told the outlet. “We’ll have to figure it out. It’s all brand new. It all just happened. They just made the announcement, so I guess we got to start figuring it all out.”
