WAFEI (5.20 Goodwood, nap)
William Haggas’ hope broke his duck in fine style at Hamilton last time, scoring by almost ten lengths eased down. The handicapper must have been dozing because he’s given him an opening mark of 83 which looks well short of his potential.
AL MUSMAK (2.25 Goodwood, nb)
He was impressive when taking a Newmarket Listed contest three weeks ago and is good enough for this step up in grade. He ended last season with a close second in a Group 2 at HQ over this trip on fast ground so should have no issue with conditions.
ASFOORA (3.35 Goodwood, treble)
She can confirm Royal Ascot form with Big Evs in what should be another fantastic tussle. The Aussie mare had a sighter at Haydock before showing great pace to take the King Charles III Stakes at Royal Ascot last time. Although she’s fine on ground with some cut, the quick conditions brought out her best there.

GET SHIRTY was a revelation stepped up to this distance when fourth in the Ascot Stakes last time.
Danny Tudhope rode him like an uncertain stayer and had him too far back only to come home strongly.
The front three had flown by then but connections know he has enough stamina now and can keep him closer to the pace.
Kyle Of Lochalsh was half a length in front of the tip at the Royal meeting and ran another good race at Newbury last time. He’s crept up the weights but has improvement to come.
Premiere Ligne has been running well over 1m4f and trainer Hughie Morrison has plenty of success with stayers. He has a handy weight and could easily figure.
Vino Victrix has run plenty of solid races at Goodwood and was second on his last visit in June. He doesn’t win as many as he should but looks solid each-way.
Temporize led home Robert Johnson in this race 12 months ago and they are both back with a chance with the latter looking well off at the weights after a good effort at Chester last time.

AL MUSMAK was impressive when taking a Newmarket Listed contest three weeks ago and is good enough for this step up in grade.
He ended last season with a close second in a Group 2 at HQ over this trip on fast ground so should have no issue with conditions.
King’s Gamble was third in the Gimcrack last season and showed promise when fifth in the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot.
That would just his fourth run so there should be a lot more in his locker.
Dancing Gemini is interesting tackling a mile for the first time since his close second in the French 2,000 Guineas in May.
He was a solid sixth in the Derby when not staying and ten furlongs didn’t suit at Sandown last time. The booking of Oisin Murphy is a plus.
Socialite went off much too quick when fourth in a Newmarket Listed contest last month. He showed lots of pace and could figure if timing his challenge better.
Task Force has gone close at Group 1 level over shorter and didn’t get much luck in the Jersey Stakes last time. He’s better than that.
Lead Artist was no match for Al Musmak last month but is capable of better.

PEROTTO ran well in this race 12 months ago and has solid claims again on ground that suits better.
He has ran two crackers this season when beaten less than a length in the Royal Hunt Cup and in hot company at Sandown last time. He’s off the same mark as that run and can go close.
Holloway Boy was a place ahead of the tip last time in that blanket finish and is another with solid claims.
Veteran Orbaan is back to the same handicap mark as his win in this race two years ago. He has run two good races heading here and has a place squeak.
Three-year-olds can win this and Native Warrior looks the pick of that age group.
Karl Burke threw him into the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot for his handicap debut and he was first home in his group and an excellent third overall.
A 3lb rise for that looks fair and there’s more to come.
Blue For You has been well backed and had plenty left in the tank when scoring at York 20 days ago.
He didn’t fire on rattling fast ground at Royal Ascot but an ease in conditions would bring him right into it.

Some rain would boost the chances of Ponntos who burned off his rivals easily to strike in a Chantilly Group 2 last time.
He could end up in a battle with Big Evs for the lead that doesn’t help either of them.
Live In The Dream hasn’t matched last year’s heroics yet and is another who likes to be up with the pace.
Believing showed lots of pace when winning a Curragh Group 2 over this trip last time and doesn’t need a lot more to figure.
