PORUM, Okla. (KFOR) - A Muskogee County man has been arrested for possession of child pornography, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
On July 30, the OSBI's Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, Muskogee County Sheriff's Office, Warner Police Department and the Payne County Sheriff's Office searched a home in Porum, Oklahoma.
According to the OSBI, a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) led investigators to 25-year-old Jacob Barbee. After the search was completed, Barbee was interviewed and admitted to having child sexual abuse material. Agents later found such materials on Barbee's electronic devices.
He was arrested and taken to the Muskogee County Jail on charges of Aggravated Possession of Child Pornography and Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
