Legendary Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni has shared his thoughts on his future in the Indian Premier League (IPL), indicating that his decision to return for the next season will depend on team interests and the final rules and regulations. Dhoni, 43, is currently assessing the IPL's upcoming auction and retention policies before deciding whether to continue playing. Despite struggles with his knee, Dhoni contributed significantly with 161 runs in 11 innings during the 2024 season. However, CSK narrowly missed the playoffs, finishing fifth with 14 points.
