Italian outfit Fiorentina are expected to sit in a new meeting with Chelsea regarding midfielder Cesare Casadei in the coming days.
The Italian midfielder is not a part of Enzo Marecsa’s plans at Chelsea despite playing under him last season.
The club are looking to move Casadei on this summer and Italian clubs have shown interest in him.
Even though Torino are interested in bringing in the player in this summer, Fiorentina are currently leading the race.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, La Viola will discuss Casadei with Chelsea in a new meeting in the upcoming days.
It has been suggested that the Italian side are looking to loan Casadei in initially and then add an obligation or option to buy the player.
Fiorentina will be looking to pay Casadei’s full salary in order to convince Chelsea to let the player go on a loan as they are looking to move him on.
La Viola will be hoping to reach an agreement with the London club in their next meeting regarding Casadei in the upcoming days.
