Mystery as Love Island stars unfollow each other and delete pics – but attend event together hours later
TWO Love Island stars have caused some confusion amongst fans after unfollowing each other and deleting their pictures – but then attended an event together hours later.
Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki have raised a few eyebrows with their social media pages recently.
The pair appeared to be going from strength to strength since their stint in the Love Island villa last year.
But eagle-eyed fans pointed out that they pressed the unfollow button on Instagram.
One said on Reddit: “Whitney and Lochan have unfollowed each other.”
Another replied: “Noooo she removed his pics too?”
A third chimed in: “Yep she removed all pics except one and he’s not tagged and she isn’t on his so I think they’ve blocked each other.”
A fourth pointed out: “Weren’t they hanging out with Scott like a few days ago .”
The couple attended the National Reality TV Awards at the Porchester Hall in London last night, which has confused a lot of people.
“okay so now that we’ve realised they’re literally together right now are we not going to discuss how weird it is that they’ve done this???,” a fifth said.
“They were together today at an award show so unless they broke up on the car ride home I’m assuming they are somewhat together…,” another wrote.
A seventh pointed out: “there’s a chance this was an obligatory attendance rather than a happy one. they may not have been able to get out of going to it.”
Whitney and Lochan took part in Love Island last year.
The beauty entered on day three and coupled up with Mehdi Endo.
Although the pair got on, it appeared that something was missing, but Whitney was heartbroken when he was dumped from the villa.
Lochan was part of the Casa Amor twist – and he made a beeline for Whitney.
The pair recoupled and stayed together until the final, placing second.
Back in April Whitney revealed a huge step in their relationship, nine months after leaving the villa.
In a YouTube video, she revealed that she has thought about living with her man.
Whitney said: “I would live with Lochan, but I am torn because Lochan lives with his friends.”
She continued: “Him and his friends are going to get a place for themselves for a year.
“And then the following year it’s ideal that we’ll move in together.”
The content creator said: “Half of me wants to [move in], but the Christian in me is like ‘Why are you living with a guy that you’re not married to? What are you doing? You don’t need no trial.’ “
“I don’t know about cohabitation before marriage.
“So I don’t know, I am torn between the world we live in, and my faith.
“But I love him and I definitely want to live with him at some point.”
