Manipur CM N Biren Singh reported to the assembly that ongoing violence since last May has resulted in 226 deaths and 39 missing persons. Over 59,000 displaced individuals are in relief camps. Furthermore, 11,133 homes have been burned, 4,569 destroyed, and 11,892 violence cases filed. Assistance and prefabricated housing have been provided for those affected.
