The Earl of Sandwich pop-up trailer that has been sitting idle for six months outside the former ESPN Zone has finally opened for business as the often-on-the-move sandwich shop awaits a new permanent home in Downtown Disney’s west end.
The temporary Earl of Sandwich pop-up location next to the Star Wars Trading Post has officially opened, according to the Downtown Disney Instagram account.

The Earl of Sandwich pop-up trailer serves a curated menu with a limited selection of sandwiches, wraps and salads. The full menu is expected to appear on the Disneyland website later this week.
Both the new pop-up food stand and current Earl of Sandwich restaurant near the esplanade between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will continue to operate in Downtown Disney.
A closing date has not yet been announced for the east end Earl of Sandwich. The former La Brea Bakery location will eventually be demolished to make way for a new Porto’s Bakery.
The Earl of Sandwich pop-up is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Earl of Sandwich restaurant near the esplanade is open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The original Earl of Sandwich restaurant was torn down in 2022 along with the AMC Theatre, Starbucks West and Sugarboo and Co. as part of the renovation of the west end of Downtown Disney.
A new two-story Earl of Sandwich location near the new Din Tai Fung in Downtown Disney will include a quick service walk-up counter, sit-down Earl of Sandwich Tavern restaurant and an upstairs bar.
