Colin Jost has a new hosting gig!
The 42-year-old Saturday Night Live star is officially hosting Pop Culture Jeopardy!, a new quiz show premiering on Prime Video.
“What is: I’m excited,” he amusingly said in an official statement, via TVLine.
A premiere date has yet to be announced, but production stars in August.
Pop Culture Jeopardy! puts “a lighthearted spin on the iconic game show,” according to the report.
In this new version, teams of three compete tournament-style as they’re tested on their knowledge on everything from “alternative rock to The Avengers, Broadway to MMA, and Gen Z to Zendaya,” among other topics.
“Colin’s sharp wit and intelligence epitomize Pop Culture Jeopardy!,” says Suzanne Prete, President of Game Shows for Sony Pictures Television. “He’s smart and quick, like our contestants, and we know he’ll be able to keep up with them while making this new series his own. We could not be happier that he is joining us for this new journey.”
