Trump team cuts off Q&A with Black journalists as he gets booed by audience
Donald Trump appeared before the National Association of Black Journalists in Chicago on Wednesday for what was scheduled to be an hour-long question and answer session, but his team cut off the exchange in a little over 30 minutes.
Fox News host Harris Faulkner attempted to ask a question about Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation's controversial plan for Trump's second term in the White House. But ABC News' Rachel Scott cut in.
"I think we have to leave it there, by the Trump team," Scott said. "So, that is the last word. Thank you so much for coming and joining us. Mr. Trump: thank you very much. Thank you, everybody."

Trump had a rough ride at the event, in which he was grilled with tough questions. He reacted immediately by lashing out at one of the moderators, ABC News' Rachel Scott, as "horrible" and "nasty."
Trump had been met by boos and jeers through some of the session, including from a man who responded to Trump's claims that nothing terrible happened on Jan. 6. Scott was pressing Trump on the way that police were beaten and attacked on the Capitol steps.
“They were convicted by a very tough system," Trump said, promising to issue a pardon.
The audience booed Trump and threw out other jeers. One individual yelled, That's a lie! I was there!"
Scott was informed that the hour-long Q&A was finished after less than 45 minutes.
MSNBC's Aaron Gilchrist told the network that the Trump campaign complained about audio issues that delayed the talk from the start. They said they cut the panel short due to those audio issues.
