Eric Trump on Tuesday night bitterly denounced his cousin, Fred Trump III, for endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris.
Writing on X, Eric Trump accused his cousin of trying to make a quick buck off the family name by writing a tell-all book in which he describes former President Donald Trump repeatedly engaging in racist rhetoric.
"It's disappointing that after decades of unwavering love, support, golf memberships, family vacations and millions of dollars in support for his wonderful son, Fred Trump has decided to 'cash in' less than a 100 days before an election," wrote Eric Trump. "I have signed the checks and witnessed first-hand as my father, and our family, has provided endless financial support so that Fred’s son could receive the best possible medical care. To read this garbage and see that he has now followed his troubled sister simply [sic] earn a quick buck is disgusting, disheartening and a prime example of 'no good deed goes unpunished'."
Many of Trump's X followers took issue with the fact that he believed that giving memberships to golf clubs counted as an example of "unwavering love."

"If you had read me 'decades of unwavering love, support….' It would have taken me decades to guess 'golf memberships' as the next thing on that list," joked X user John O'Connor.
"Ah, the ol’ saying, 'I gave love, support, and golf memberships,'" joked another user.
"Golf memberships," marveled Kathryn Tewson.
"You cant just write checks and give out golf memberships to create loving family relationships," observed another user. "This entire family is so twisted and Weird. Kudos on the few of them that are speaking up."
Another X user simply summed up Eric Trump's post by writing, "This is the saddest thing I ever heard."
