A WOMAN has revealed that she is a “lazy mum” and wants to do things the “easy way”.
Liv Johnston, a toddler mum from the UK, explained that she has let her two-year-old daughter eat McDonald’s for dinner, four nights in a row.
The mum-of-one explained that she can’t be bothered to cook, and isn’t ashamed to admit it.
Posting on social media, the content creator shared her ‘lazy parent confession’.
As she unboxed her latest McDonald’s order, she said: “It’s no secret that I’m a lazy parent.
“I choose to do things the easy way around.”
Liv confessed that this isn’t the first time she has had McDonald’s this week, as she opened up: “We had one yesterday, we had one the day before, I actually think we had one the day before, I think this is our fourth McDonald’s in a row.
“For me I cannot be a***d to cook, so it is easier for me to order a McDonald’s then to actually have to get things out and cook.”
Liv explained that particularly when her partner is away, she will do things to make her life that bit easier, as she continued: “Now I’m not ashamed to say that I’m a lazy parent.
“I’m not ashamed to say that I will do things that make my life easier, especially when my husband’s not here.
“When it is just me during the day, yes, I will order a McDonald’s, yes, I will do it days in a row, until I start to realise that maybe I actually have to cook.”
Whilst wearing a cosy dressing gown, the pink-haired woman claimed that she knows people may disagree with her lifestyle, but she doesn’t see the problem.
As she tucked into some chips, she added: “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with choosing the easy way sometimes, although a lot of people will probably have a very different opinion to me.
“I know I should definitely cook for once, but can I be bothered? No.
“It is way easier to order myself McDonald’s.

“I don’t wanna cook and I don’t wanna have to clean the pots.”
Following this, after taking a sip of a fizzy drink, Liv later wrote: “I reckon I’ll make the effort and cook tea tonight.
“I need to get my Hello Fresh back to be fair.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @livvjohnstonx, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as parents rushed to the comments to share their thoughts.
To Liv’s surprise, many could relate to the mother, and confessed that they do the same too.

IKEA: Make it a food day at the Swedish home store.
On every day except Fridays, enjoy a pit stop at their famous cafe from 11am to get a kids’ pasta or mac and cheese dish for 95p.
Other mini meals are available for £1.50.
PIZZA EXPRESS: Kids up to age ten can get a free three-course Piccolo meal including dough balls, pizza or pasta and dessert with every adult meal purchased.
The offer runs every day until August 11.
TESCO: Pop to the supermarket cafe from Monday to Friday until August 30 for free kids’ meals when an adult buys any item in the cafe.
You must have a Clubcard to redeem the offer.
THE RANGE: Kids under 16 get one free meal per adult main purchased at The Range cafes.
Options include sandwiches, a cooked breakfast and fish and chips.
All kids’ meals come with a piece of fruit and a drink.
